Guilds, parties, friends, alliances, and zone control.

Guilds & Social

Guilds page — guild management list for social systems, guild membership, and territory control
Guilds page — guild management list for social systems, guild membership, and territory control

Parties

Players can form parties of up to 4 members by default (configurable, and raids group several parties together):

  • XP mode — individual, or split across the party
  • Loot mode — free-for-all, round-robin, leader, first-come-first-served, need/greed rolls, or master looter, with per-rarity rules for which drops go to a roll
  • Party chat for private communication
  • Party leader can kick, invite, and switch loot rules

Guilds

Guilds are persistent groups of up to 50 members (the cap is a world setting) with:

  • Custom ranks — a permission-based rank hierarchy you author, with a member roster, promote/demote/kick, and leader-leave-disband
  • Guild treasury — shared gold pool with deposit/withdraw tracking
  • Territory control — guilds can claim and manage zones
  • Alliances — formal ties with other guilds
  • Guild XP and levels — guilds progress on their own curve, up to level 50

Guild Permissions

Each rank you author grants any combination of these:

PermissionDescription
InviteSend guild invitations
KickRemove members
PromoteChange a member's rank
Manage RanksCreate ranks and edit their permissions
Withdraw BankTake gold from the guild treasury
Set TaxSet the guild's tax rate on open plots
Edit BuildingsBuild and edit on guild-owned land
Manage Open PlotsAdminister plots the guild has opened to members
Manage Zone ControlClaim and release zones
Manage AllianceForm and break alliances

Guild Seasons

Guilds compete over defined seasons (upcoming → active → ended). Points accrue from what the guild actually does, each source weighted by you:

SourceEarns points for
Boss killDowning a boss
Zone captured / defendedTerritory warfare
Quest completedMember quest turn-ins
Craft itemProduction
PvP killOpen-world kills
Skill level upMember progression

Alliances

Guilds can form alliances with other guilds:

  • Allied guilds share territory bonuses
  • Can't attack each other in guild-war PvP zones
  • Strategic cooperation for zone control

Chat Channels

Chat is split into channels, and the channel decides who hears you and how it renders:

ChannelReach
Say / LocalNearby players only (~14 tiles) — the only channel that pops an overhead speech bubble, and the default
GlobalThe whole world, log only
PartyYour party
GuildYour guild
AllianceEvery guild in your alliance
WhisperOne player
SystemServer messages

NPC barks and ambient chatter use the same say channel, so NPCs bubble exactly like players do. A per-world chat cooldown throttles spam.

Friends

  • Add friends via request
  • Online status tracking
  • Direct messaging
  • Block list

Mail

In-game mail system:

  • Text messages between players
  • Item attachments — send items and gold
  • Inbox management — read, delete, claim attachments
